Colibrì House

Colibrì House is located in a peaceful area of Placencia Village near the famous sidewalk and on the white sand beachfront, surrounded by coconut trees and tropical flowers, just steps away from the Caribbean Sea.

An octagonal cottage, Colibrì House has a larger upstairs apartment with loft, and a smaller downstairs apartment. It is built from hardwood with windows on all sides and fully furnished, with unique touches such as handmade hardwood furniture. You will enjoy relaxing in a hammock on a comfortable verandah overlooking the sea, with beautiful sunrises over the ocean.

Colibrì House is situated in Placencia Village, near to restaurants and beach bars, coffee shops, markets and boutiques.

The owners, Stefano Ragagnin and Nicoletta Sala, are from Milan, Italy.

They designed Colibrì House from their experiences as travelers and using their creative Mediterranean perspective and fantasy. They offer the upstairs and downstairs apartments of Colibrì House for private rental to singles, couples, small families, or small groups of friends.

There are two rental options:

1) The Upstairs Apartment

a.. sleeps 2-3 in one open space upstairs (one double bed in the loft and a futon)b.. bathroom with hot and cold water, including shower and bidet c.. fully furnished and equipped living/dining/kitchen area, fridge, stove/oven, ceiling fan and stem-fan, four-person dining table d.. TV with cable, DVD player and CD player e.. blankets, sheets and towels provided f.. beachfront verandah overlooking the water g.. selection of books and games

2) The Downstairs Studio Apartment (with separate entrance)

Occupying the first floor, the Downstairs Studio Apartment offers windows on all sides. It accommodates 2-3 people in one double bed and a single sofa bed. It is fully furnished with unique touches such as handmade hardwood furniture. Amenities include hot and cold water, stove/oven, cookware, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, toaster, TV with cable, radio with CD player and fans. Blankets, sheets, and towels are provided, as is a hammock for relaxing on the private verandah.

RATES

Rates: November 15 -May 14 (High Season)

Upstairs Apartment: $80/night or $520/week, plus 9% tax (minimum three night stay)

Downstairs Studio Apartment: $65/night or $420/week, plus 9% tax

Rates: May 15 - November 14 (Low Season)

Upstairs Apartment: $65/night or $420/week, plus 9% tax

Downstairs Studio Apartment: $40/night, plus 9% tax
